whew, ive been at it for about three weeks now. i split up with the rest of the travellers last night, and have two days on my own in athens. i land tomorrow night in the land of the turks for some much needed rest and relaxation with old friends. it looks like i will be back in the us around the 6 of july and in baton rouge soon after that, taking care of scholarly beauracracy involved with study abroad. i look forward to seeing everyone and i miss all those from rennes!!

hey everypne, we are in venise. amsterdam was really cool, coffeeshops, museums, bike riding like none other and the heineken brewery

praha, czec republic...that is where i am writing from. the night train was, crazy... 6 of us in a tiny room that was hot as hell, crazy soccer hooligans shouting all night. big ups to our friend dave that came through and crashed with us. so we got to prague in the morning, extremely tired and were greeted by a less than modern, voire, bombed out, ghetto train station, after walking around and trying to find the hostel, i asked some cops who just pointed me in a direction and said about ten times "striet! streit! fife minoots, fife minoots...we ended up in a parking garage and then back in the train station, but we eventually found the hostel and set out on a tour of prague. its very very cool, lots of different sections of town and neighborhoods, old churches, old communist buildings... we had some beer at a pub and these germans stefan and johanna ended up eating beside us while we drank and they came to the 5 story disco with us (thank you taylor liedtke) which was crazy...we bebopped and rave all over the place, caroline asked for some strong shots and we got...absinthe with redbull...which shelfer refused, having already chugged half a bottle in switzeerland which he claims gave him a two day hangover...the night was pretty much crazy, we woke up early this morning, had breakfast in the hostel and then coffee, shelfer and perry are still asleep, but we've got one more day in prague and then we leave early tomorrow to go to amsterdam...

whats up everyone? im in munich after a run through paris and then interlaken switzerland...tonight we take a night train to prague followed by amsterdam, its been a great time, the weather was kind of bad in interlaken and in munich, but its alright, last night we went to a munich pub crawl and i have a deadly hangover, ill post again soon, have a great day
