last week of class

well everyone, its my last week of class. i have a two week vacation (the first week i'ill be in dubai with the crazy saudis), then a week of makeups, then finals. in any case i cant believe how fast its gone. i dont have too much to say, its just been a while since ive written in the blog. ive got to say im jonesin for some crawfish and an ice cold, miller lite. hope everyone has a good week.

the CPE was taken back yesterday, so the protests and whatnot worked. So, if something is pissing you off, assemble a few million people and take it to the streets... way to go french... way to go illegal aliens and those waiting on green cards...

just to let everyone know whats going on, schools back. we are no longer blocking, only on national days of striking. the students against the CPE are looking for other ways to make their voice heard, besides just blocking the school and going to protest. The latest ...flash mobs....

the CRS are psychopaths.. the compagnie republican de securité are basically national riot police, they come out for the protests and most of the time just start shit.. yesterday i got kicked in the ass and the back of the legs while trying to cross a street where the psychopaths had launched a tear gas bomb into a car, crazies.

whats up everybody, im sure some of yall are getting tired of the CPE and all of the protests in whatnot in France, sorry. Today was supposedly another big day of protests, inbetween 30,000 and 50,000 in the streets of Rennes. Here is a crappy picture from xavier's phone, hopefully i will have some better pictures sometime soon. In the meantime, check out the article on my town. Its true, there is a hippy "self governing" village in front of the mayors office, where they debate and share everything and run themselves... crazy...
