winter break

barbecue in france??

in response to mule neck's question "do they have barbecue in france?" the short answer: no. is there a jay's barbecue or a rib shack in my hometown? not that i'm aware of. im sure you can get some barbecue in paris. ask any french person if they have ______ and if they dont know "Vous pouvez peut-être le trouver à Paris." We were driving around and i saw some dr pepper in a specialty store in Paris. there IS however, a fried chicken place in town, but i havent eaten there yet. BUT there are barbecues, and thus the possibility to make barbecue. I wanna just get down with some bargain chicken meat and barbecue the hell out of it one afternoon. whenever it happens, i will inform the public. have a good week. and keep the questions coming.

whats up people, its raining and im at subway, the loudest most annoying american girls just left, i would say roughly 6 of them who i guess are studying in the same town as me. i got some juicy gossip, this girls big sis in her sorority, got drunk, drove, and woke up naked with some guy she didnt know in some strange place...oooohhhh....its cool though to hear some english at random like that, though. i had a good weekend, friday night i kicked it with the chileans in my dorm, saturday a girl from st lucius cooked some carribean creole dinner and sunday i slept in and then ate with eleanora and her boyfriend benjamin, check out benjamin pimpin' the fourwheeler (quad)

thomas fersen

well i went to the thomas fersen concert wednesday night, it was really fun.

he came out for four encores, and all the backing musicians changed instruments, cool performer, cool concert, saw my crazy ass sociology teacher. it was all around a great concert. i hope everyone has a good weekend. lookout, dick cheney is armed, in your neighborhood, and has the sun in his eyes! coming soon: the turkish girls give their hand at a snoop dogg rap....

gross french food

whats up everybody, dont forget monty russell plays tonight (thursday night) at the mellow mushroom. i ate at xavier's house last night: cabbage, carrots, radishes and pork ears. there i said it.

new model army

new model army, was a pretty cool show. we left from the car rental place, pulled over ate some sandwiches and proceeded the show. it was at a small club and low and behold, just across the street, a carnival; with about 5 people there. none of the rides were open, it was just strange. but the concert was cool, new model army has been around since the eighties so there were many generations represented; picture a mix of shelfers dad and bill hogan in a tan turtleneck and slacks (i dont think there are any of you who know both of them) thrashing in the front row and basically starting a mini mosh pit. he and his son were there along with a bunch of english crazies that came from england to see them.
